Lovely Ramblings

His lips were red like a Marlboro packet. The kind of seducing red that you can't peel your eyes away from. Red as the blood coursing through your veins, in an ethereal motion.

His hands were large and coarse. They slipped through mine, gripping them tightly.

I put my head to his chest. He smelt fresh, like all the good things in the world originated within his pounding torso. The hum of his heartbeat was mellifluous.

When I looked into his eyes I saw the stars, the galaxies.

Looking into his eyes was like looking at the sun. You couldn't look for too long, you had to look away. It's like they were burning you. For it was like an array of iridescent colours dancing to a song that no-one but him could hear.

Lying there was like being in oblivion. The world peeled away slowing, leaving only two souls intertwined.
